Back to your long stride, sooner.
Registered physiotherapists for knees, backs, concussion and recovery after surgery, a block up from the Bow River pathway.
The first visit
Your first hour is mostly spent moving.
We start with what happened and what you want back: a race, a ski season, the stairs at work. Then we watch you squat, step down, balance on one leg and jog on the treadmill, because the sore spot is rarely the whole story.
Before you leave you know what we think is going on, roughly how many visits it should take, and three exercises to start that night. Not a photocopied sheet of twenty.

I tore my ACL skiing in February and ran the whole river loop to Edworthy Park that October. Imogen never let me skip the boring exercises, and she was right about every one of them.

What we treat
Knees, backs, heads and new joints
Most of our week is these five. Each line says how long a typical course runs, so you can plan around it.
Knees
Runner's knee, patellar tendon pain, meniscus and ligament sprains. We find what the knee is covering for, then load it back up in stages.
Usually four to eight visits
Backs and necks
Low back pain, sciatica and the stiff neck that comes with a desk job. Hands-on treatment where it helps, and a short routine you will actually do.
Often settled in three to six visits
Concussion
Headaches, dizziness and trouble with screens after a hit or a fall. Eye and balance testing, then a graded return to school, work or sport.
A graded return over two to six weeks
After surgery
ACL reconstructions, knee and hip replacements, shoulder repairs. We work from your surgeon's protocol and send them a note at every phase.
Plans run three to nine months
Running injuries
Achilles, shins, plantar fascia and hips. We film your stride, look at your shoes and your training log, and keep you running while it settles.
Gait assessment, $140
