1. Scope and responsibility
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service at /terms. It applies to accounts, prompts, uploads, generated output, previews, published sites, domains, forms, communications and use of Pagely infrastructure. It covers attempts, facilitation and links used to direct visitors to prohibited activity. You must comply with applicable law and have authority to represent the business you publish.
The restrictions below are platform rules and can be stricter than local law. A disclaimer, age gate or claim that material is fictional does not authorize a prohibited use. We consider context and credible evidence when assessing a potential violation.
2. Scams, fraud and impersonation
Do not operate scams, phishing, fake stores, deceptive investment or employment offers, pyramid schemes, payment fraud, credential harvesting, identity theft or misleading fundraising. Do not fabricate customer testimonials, licences, endorsements, affiliations or material business claims to deceive visitors.
Do not impersonate a person, business, public authority or support service; falsely claim control of a listing or domain; or use another person's identity, brand, payment method or account without authorization. Clearly identified parody or commentary is not permission to confuse visitors about who operates a business or receives their money.
3. Adult content and sexual exploitation
Do not use Pagely to host, generate, promote or sell pornography, sexually explicit material intended for sexual gratification, adult sexual services or commercial sexual solicitation. Do not facilitate trafficking, coercion, sexual violence, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes or sexual exploitation.
Any sexual content involving or sexualizing a minor, including generated, illustrated or purportedly fictional material, is prohibited. Do not solicit such content or link to sources that provide it. Suspected child exploitation or immediate danger should also be reported to the appropriate authorities; do not upload unlawful material as evidence in a Pagely report.
Legitimate non-explicit sexual-health education, clinical information, safeguarding resources, news and abuse-prevention advocacy may be allowed when lawful, age-appropriate and not designed to facilitate exploitation or sell prohibited content or services.
4. Drugs and other restricted commerce
Do not sell, advertise, broker, arrange payment or delivery for illegal drugs, controlled substances, unauthorized pharmaceuticals, drug-manufacturing inputs intended for illegal use, or services that evade prescription or controlled-substance requirements. Pagely also prohibits commercial promotion or sale of cannabis and other controlled substances through the platform, even where a seller asserts local licensing.
Do not facilitate illegal weapons sales, trafficking, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, unlawful gambling or other commerce prohibited by applicable law. Do not give instructions intended to facilitate violent crime or illegal drug manufacture.
Lawful, non-commercial drug education, addiction treatment information, harm-reduction resources and general health information are not prohibited merely because they discuss drugs. A legitimate healthcare practice may describe lawful professional services, but may not use that exception to conduct prohibited controlled-substance commerce or make deceptive medical claims.
5. Violence, harassment and hate
Do not threaten, encourage or facilitate violence, terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm or abuse. Do not stalk, bully, blackmail, dox, target people with harassment or publish private information to expose them to harm.
Do not promote hatred, dehumanization, discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. Good-faith reporting, criticism, research or counterspeech must not serve as a pretext for threats or targeted abuse.
6. Intellectual property and privacy
Do not infringe copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, trade secrets or other rights. Do not distribute stolen content, unauthorized recordings, pirated software or counterfeit products. Respect licences, attribution duties and lawful removal demands. AI generation is not a defence to infringement.
Do not publish personal information without a lawful basis, scrape restricted information, obtain private credentials, or collect highly sensitive information through general contact forms. Do not use visitor messages for spam, profiling unrelated to their request or other undisclosed purposes.
7. Malware, spam and platform abuse
Do not upload, distribute or link to malware, ransomware, malicious scripts, exploits used for unauthorized access, botnet control, phishing kits or deceptive downloads. Do not interfere with the service, probe systems without authorization, evade authentication, overload resources or attempt to access another customer's data.
Do not use sites, forms or email features for unsolicited bulk messages, abusive automated submissions, deceptive redirects, cloaking, search spam or manipulative link networks. Do not obscure prohibited destinations behind short links, QR codes, embedded content or otherwise innocent-looking pages.
Do not bypass verification, moderation, usage or plan limits; conceal a prohibited operator behind new accounts; rotate identities, devices, payment methods or domains to evade enforcement; resell unauthorized access; or assist another person to do any of these things.
8. Enforcement, reporting and review
Pagely may review material and take the actions described in section 7 of the Terms, including blocking generation, removing a site or content, restricting features, suspending or closing accounts and cancelling subscriptions. Urgent action may occur without prior notice when reasonably necessary or legally required. Where appropriate and lawful, we may preserve relevant records, report unlawful activity or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
Use /report to report a suspected violation, or contact hello@pagely.ca with the site address, relevant facts and your relationship to the issue. Do not send passwords, highly sensitive information or unlawful content. Do not submit knowingly false reports or use reporting to harass a competitor.
To dispute a decision, contact hello@pagely.ca and explain the mistake or steps taken to correct the issue. Human review is available. We do not guarantee restoration or a particular outcome, and an appeal does not automatically pause an urgent restriction. Refunds, lawful retention and mandatory consumer or privacy rights remain governed by the Terms and applicable law.
