| Decision | Pagely | Durable |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Business name and town, public business sources, owner details and design choices. | Questions about the business followed by an AI-generated site and editor. |
| Fact workflow | A source brief and claim check are part of generation; the owner reviews before publishing. | Durable advertises industry-specific AI content. Its public builder page does not describe Pagely's source-brief workflow. |
| Business tools | Website, forms, review connection, analytics, hosting and editing. | Website plus CRM, bookings, lead replies, blog and other AI agents on listed plans. |
| Custom domain | Pro connects a domain you already own. Registration stays separate. | Paid plans can connect an external domain or include a registration credit, according to Durable's pricing page. |
| Published sites | Free includes 1; Pro includes up to 3. | Durable's plan structure is organized around a broader business workspace. Confirm site and workspace limits for your account. |
| Pricing context | CA$0 Free; Pro CA$19 monthly or CA$190 yearly, billed in CAD. | Durable shows monthly and annual-billing prices on its current page. Currency display and checkout terms can depend on region, so verify them directly. |
Where Pagely is the better fit
Pagely is intentionally narrow. It turns a local business's Google listing, current website and owner-provided details into a source brief, generates a designed site, and checks claims against that material. The useful difference is editorial: credentials, service areas, years in business and reviews are treated as facts to verify.
The Free plan publishes 1 site on a Pagely address with a contact form and footer badge. Pro is CA$19 per month or CA$190 per year in CAD. It adds up to 3 sites, custom domains, no badge, Pro-only Ask editing, action analytics, automatic monthly review refresh and form tools.
Pagely does not currently provide native ecommerce, appointment booking, memberships or a blog. A business that needs those as core operations should choose a platform that supports them directly or accept an external tool.
Where Durable is the better fit
Durable's current pricing page bundles a website with CRM and adds bookings, lead replies, blog generation, review requests, directory tools and other AI-agent features on paid plans. That can reduce the number of separate services for a solo business that wants one operational dashboard.
Durable also lists custom forms, custom code, analytics, image generation and advanced SEO or GEO features across its tiers. Its website builder supports manual changes to layouts, images, headings and fonts after generation.
If your decision depends on a particular automation, test the exact limit and output during a trial. A feature name in a comparison table does not show whether it fits your calendar, customer consent flow or daily process.

Pricing needs a live checkout check
Durable's public pricing page currently shows Free, Launch and Grow tiers, with different amounts for monthly and annual billing. The same page says Free can publish to a durable.site subdomain, while another Durable builder FAQ says a paid subscription is needed to publish. Because those official pages conflict, verify current publishing access inside the product before relying on either statement.
Compare totals in one currency. Add tax, domain renewal, paid apps and any external booking, email or payment costs. Pagely's domain registration remains with the registrar; Durable advertises domain connection and a registration allowance on paid subscriptions, with its own transfer terms.
Run the same five-part trial
- Give both builders the same official name, services, location, hours and approved proof.
- Mark every generated claim that did not appear in your source material.
- Edit one service, replace one image and test the phone layout.
- Submit the contact path and test any booking, CRM or lead automation you need.
- Record the first-year cost, renewal terms, domain control and cancellation path.
